Food Youtubers that you should check out

I've been consuming YouTube content since 2007, and food videos take most of my YouTube pie, along with whatever my finicky mind wants me to check that day.

There are a lot of players in this genre, and it could be even further broken down to mukbang, food and travel, and cooking videos. For this list, I'll only be talking about food and travel videos.

  1. Fung Bros

First up on the list is going to be one of the most consistent food content creators over the years. Their unique position as Asian Americans who advocate different types of foods—particularly Asian cuisine most of the time, makes it much more appealing for a Filipino living in the US. They also inject discussions about heritage, culture, hip hop, and other sorts of social commentary while showcasing great eats, which elevates the quality of their videos overall.

2. Best Ever Food Review Show

The first video I've seen of Sonny Side was his Cebu video where he was featuring halo-halo—a famous cold dessert in the Philippines. In this particular video, he just picked a random halo-halo stall instead of going to the usual route of featuring a place that has traction, and it was entertaining. His vibrant personality, and his funny antics while showing his appreciation for food and culture makes him different amongst other food YouTubers.

3. Send Foodz

What do you get when you have two of the most real and famous Asian American comedy YouTubers together in a food show? A whole lot of laughs and savory eats. Originally produced by Tim Chantarangsu and co-hosted David So, the show is now produced by Thrillist but with the same vibe giving you the realest of the real food reviews in a classic raunchy comedic fashion. No cap for sure. They are also not there just to entertain. They are true food lovers, and they have the cred to go with it. David So is also in the Netflix show Best Left Overs as one of the judges.

4. moneysigneric

Walking up to people in the streets in New York with what seems to be a microphone clipped onto a chopstick, Moneysigneric is as real as it gets. He doesn't pretend to be knowledgeable about food, but he sure loves to explore the best eats in New York. He asks strangers for their recommendation and tries it out for himself. He's one of the selected food YouTubers who would tell you straight up if your food is good or not (with his own set of standards). A breath of fresh air amongst seemingly highly curated food shows on YouTube.

So those are just some of the few food YouTubers that I love to watch as of recent. They have their styles and takes on what makes a good food YouTube show, but they all share the same love for food and food content. There are more food YouTube channels that I've not mentioned, so let me know other YouTube channels that you like. I also follow a lot of Asian food YouTubers, and I have to make a separate article for my people. hahaha! Stay updated so that you wouldn't miss it.
